P35M para sa hotel stay? NYC’s Enriquez, Cardema dapat mag-resign – Akbayan Youth

“It’s an outrageous contrast. Almost P35 million were spent on 5-star hotels for NYC events while youth unemployment is twice the national rate in 2019. The NYC headed by Ryan Enriquez spoiled themselves with funds meant for youth development while millions of young people are living in poverty,” ani Akbayan Youth Chairperson Dr. RJ Naguit.

“The audit report says that the agency failed in its anti-drugs program. This is laughable as an agency that obsessed so much about the President’s War on Drugs. The NYC’s hopeless incompetence waste so much of government funds for the youth.”

“The National Youth Commission needs a total overhaul starting with the removal of Ryan Enriquez and Ronald Cardema. This excessive spending is symptomatic of a rotten system within the NYC where programs aren’t geared towards the development of young people but only towards pleasing President Duterte,” aniya pa.
